Micheal Jackson-because he's my cousin and also the one of the greatest entertainers ever
Jay Z-he's my favorite rapper of all time. I studied him like Kobe Bryant studied Micheal Jordan
Prince-he wasn't afraid to push the narrative
Nas-very underrated MC who didn't try and fit the mold of popular music but still was impactful
Lil Wayne-his wittiness as an MC and confidence attracted me to him sonically
My dad and uncles (Brotherly Love)-because I want to surpass their #16 Billboard charting song "Momma's Little Baby Love Lovin"
Can you tell me 3 things about yourself that people might not already know?
I am an introvert with an extrovert's confidence which is confusing to people. I am very passionate about basketball and had a chance to play in the Philippines and France Nationale II but an injury stopped me. I love dogs

What has been the best gig you have done to date and why?
My performance at the Baja Club in Cancun, Mexico where I was performed at a high school "foam party", the Power 105.1 artist showcase in Queens, NY and when I opened for MTV's Krishnar at Universal City, CA BB Kings red carpet charity event that had mass media coverage
If you could perform a gig at any venue where would it be and why?
The Xcel Energy Center (MN) or the Target Center (MN)
What has been your best achievement to date and what would you like to achieve in the future?
Being the former #1 unsigned artist on BET.com Ya Heard with over 3 million votes and two top rated songs (Turn It Up A Notch and What's Your Name) and also having my video for "Drinks In The Air" air on The COOLTV 30 times with over 10 million viewers. My goal is creating a partnership with a major and becoming a brand
Tell me a story from backstage or after a gig?
I remember after performing at the Fine Line (downtown Minneapolis) an female asked me for the shirt off of my back which was an Aquaman shirt and I gave it to her
What do you like best about being a musician and why?
I like being able to express myself musically and artistically in a way that I cannot sometimes communicate in an in person conversation
If you were not in the job you are now what would you be doing?
Coaching college basketball and pursuing an opportunity to skill train at the professional basketball level
What has been the best gig you have been too as a fan and can you tell us about it?
Jay Z's Magna Carta World concert tour at Xcel Energy December 3, 2013. The electricity in the air and the way Hov commanded the stage

What would you say is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
"A million will like it and a million will hate it but hopefully the million that like it are decision makers"
What things make you happy and what things annoy you?
Positivity makes me happy and seeing people persevere also makes me very happy. I hate seeing people give up or people being knocked for pursuing goals
What things do you like to do when you are away from music?
Play basketball, video games (NBA2K 21), watch a good movie
Do you think social media and the internet are a good thing in the music industry?
The internet is a very good thing because your music can be global within an hour but the knock is the over saturation of music
How important do you think you look and image is when it comes to being in the music industry?
Image is very important because of marketability purposes. It's essential and a must to be marketable as an artist
Can you tell us about any tattoos you have and the significance of them to you?
I have a microphone with my stage name ATR on my arm and music notes because I consider myself dedicated to music and I love to perform and write songs. I also have a scorpion on my leg that is reaching for a basketball and a cross with my mothers initials and RIP because she passed away and she was a very important piece of my life. I also have my favorite bible verse on my forearm (Mark 11:22-23)
If you run the country for a day what would you change about it and why?
I would focus on equality and taking out terms and words that divide a nation like "people of color" which is just a kinder way of saying "colored people" which both terms are very primitive and add division. I would focus on giving people their individual identity instead of grouping "white people over here" and everyone else over here
What would your ideal day consist of?
My ideal day would consist of a good workout, seeing my kids, eating good meals and making a super dope song
What has been your experience during the Covid 19 situations.Can you tell us how this has affected you personally,how it has affected you professionally and maybe a story from this time or a message for people out there?
The pandemic definitely stopped me from performing in other states and also put a halt on my AAU team traveling and competing. The pandemic also humbled a lot of people including myself because it took away people's everyday normal day freedom of going where you please and confined people to their homes for months which also humbled people
If you could say one thing to your fans what would it be and why?
Never stop pursuing your dreams because they haven't given up on you
How would you answer the question Who are you and what are the differences between you as a music artist and you away from music ?
What was the first record or song you purchased and why?
I am a man who has been through many trials and tribulations but I am still standing strong and confident with an optimistic approach to everyday life. As far as musically, I am a versatile artist who can crossover into the pop world and r&b world with me being a natural singer but I can also deliver a lyrical arsenal.
Who would you most like to collab with?
Jay Z because that's like asking Kobe Bryant (may he Rest In Peace) would he ever want to shoot around with Micheal Jordan (Lol)

Not feeling like I can trust someone and shady business

All the stories of adversity and losses that I've been through and still kept my head high pushing forward
